Playing the role of a mad person
- I felt like Sanjeev Kumar playing this role. When I was playing the role on stage I was lost in my own world. I had no control of myself.
- I was so much involved in it that I could not feel anyone’s presence
- It felt like someone else was doing it for me.
Preparations
- I have never acted in my life neither did I ever dreamt of it.
- I did not do any preparations for it , I only imagined how a mad person behaves
Elimination
- I am glad that I got a second chance but it did not work out for me because of less number of votes.
- I am happy with what has happened now.

Friend Avinash
- I have an orchestra called “ Zakir Hussain Musical Group”. I met Avinash around 8 years back when he had come to play base guitar in my orchestra.
- I never realized that a jamming session could last up to become a strong bonded friendship.
- He is not only my best friend, but also the one on whom I depend a lot for my daily activities.
Embarrassing moment in VOI
- VOI has given me lot of love support and confidence. The only time I really felt bad or rather embarrassed was when my mother cried during my elimination

- It is my return in VOI. I never expected or believed that such a thing could happen

ZAKIR
Comeback
when I got eliminated I had said that whatever happens it happens for the good………now I feel that this is the good that has happened to
I never believed that I could comeback or this can really happen
Reaction of other contestants when he came back
- it’s not that everyone is very happy ……….we stay together, live together share a lot of time together but I feel the other contestants are not very happy with my comeback..
Preparation
- I am known for singing old songs………but now I am preparing new songs as well…..now I want to make a difference
- Now that I have comeback I don’t want to loose the opportunity
First crush
- my first crush or my first love is my wife
Blind date
- I don’t believe in blind date but if given a chance I would like to go out for dinner with Sukhwinder Singh
Deserted on an Island
- I would like to be deserted on an island with my wife.
- I never imagined I could have a fan following ………many girls have been calling me up…….but I have told them that I m married and even have kids……..but the response that I get is that you are allowed to have 4 marriages

VOI platform- It is a dream come true for me to perform in VOI and to get the love of so many music lovers. So far it has been one of the greatest achievements of my life to become a part of this .Cycle for Noor- getting a cycle from Ismailji is a honor not only for me but also for my son. I didn’t have any expectations to get a cycle for my son from him. The cycle is like a prize for me and it will be with my son and me for all our life.Sympathy- I’m handicapped, but I m thankful to god for that one thing I do have - my singing. The judges and the viewers have appreciated my singing .I’m a good singer and its because of my singing that have reached so far and one day I will surely become a good singer .
