Performing in Indore

-         Indore was very good , the crowd was filled with  energy

-         The thing that I enjoyed the most was to perform on the song ”Jee Karda”, I was all charged up and in the mood to rock Indore

-         Indore Rocks

Reaching Top 3

-         I feel it has been a very difficult and tough journey for me

-         I am very happy that I made it so far

-         Right now the competition is immense and I am working very hard to deliver my best

-         I hope I will get the support of my fans to win the VOI title

-         There are a lot of people who believe I can do something in music industry and I just want to meet their expectation

-         And specially after singing the title song for “Aap Ki Kachehri” my motivational level has increased a lot and I feel I can definitely succeed in music industry

Mallar’s elimination

-         Someone had to go , and that day it was Mallar

-         Everyone cannot win , someone has to loose

- From Ahmadabad to Indore , its getting better and bigger
- The audience were very good , they stayed back till late and supported us in our performance
- I think it could not have been better
- Even more to it , I could not believe the fan following I have gained in these months
- The girls were all over yelling my name , a few of them even demanded me to come and meet them before I could perform
- I feel like a star now

Reaching the Finals

- I had watched the Grand Finale of VOI 1 , I wished if I could reach that level
- I never believed that I could come so far,
- Its an unbelievable experience that I am going through
- I feel I have been very patient through my ups and down
- I kept motivating myself , and was totally focused in what I was doing
- I think one should never loose hope in life

Were you scared that your lucky charm Anjum was not there at Indore and you might get eliminated?

- I have got this feeling that Anjum has proven to be very lucky for me
- I was a little worried and scared when I got to know that Anjum was not there at Indore , I felt that I might get eliminated
- But she called just before the show and wished me luck
- I hope this luck stays with me till I win the VOI title

Performing in Indore

- Indore was truly fabulous, the people were running in for autographs , snaps etc
- I had no clue that so many people would turn up to watch our show and above all would stay till late night and support us in our performance
Being the only girl contender in Top 3

- I am happy and more than me my parents are very happy to see me reach this level
- I just pray that I could meet the expectations of the people who have supported me and reward them by winning the title
- I am working hard to meet the expectations of the people who support specially Ismail ji
- I felt very happy when he said that I had sung the song “tu muskura” better than the original
- There is only a few steps to the finale but there is immense competition and pressure

Mallar’s elimination

- He is a very good singer, but he somehow has not managed to get enough support from the viewers
- I had the feeling that either Mallar or myself would go out
- I was happy that I got enough votes and was not eliminated

-         There were a lot of people who had turned up to see us perform in Ahmadabad

-         To me it felt like I was performing in a concert, I never thought that I was singing to get good votes or to get good marks. I only thought of  making the people happy who had come in there and to deliver what I can

Fear of loosing the voice

-         Meeting with the accident was my fate , now I have to live with it all my life

-         There has been times when I have got tensed and fainted due to it

-         But when I am singing or involved in music I leave everything aside and forget my problems

-         My father is also there with me who gives me strength to carry on

Ritisha’s elimination

-         So far Saptaparna has been performing consistently from the beginning and I did not want her to get voted out

-         Ravi also has improved tremendously

-         Ritisha on the other has shown a lot of ups and down in her performance

Performing in Ahmadabad

-         The experience was never the less a good one

-         I never felt that I was performing in front unknown people , it was as if I was performing at home

-         I enjoyed a lot , Ahmadabad audience is really good

Becoming a performer

-         Earlier I was a little shy to perform when I was singing , I normally used to stand at one place and sing

-         Slowly I have transformed myself into a performer

-         Now people tell me that I have changed a lot from my initial days at VOI

Ritisha’s elimination

-         I had a feeling that I would be voted out this time

-         Ritisha had usually got good votes but the voting was based on her previous performance in which she had not sung too well

-         It was a little depressing for me because she is also a good friend of mine

-         It was a new experience to perform in front of the live audience , we got a huge response

-         I was more than happy to perform there with such energy filled audience

-         I would love to do perform more in such kind of ambience

Performing with Sonu Nigam

-         I had no clue ever that I would get a chance to be with him on stage and sing with him

-         He was very supportive towards me and I thoroughly enjoyed singing with him

Being called the future Sonu Nigam

-         a lot of my friends had told me that I looked like Sonu ji , but I never gave attention to it

-         But when the Sonu ji himself said that I looked like him, I was totally amazed and also shocked

-         He even mentioned that he is like an elder brother to me , what more can I expect from him

-         Apart from Sonu ji even Ismail ji went on to say that I had the potential to be the next Sonu Nigam

-         It was one of the biggest compliment that I have received so far from anyone on VOI

Performing with Anjum

-         It was a yet another surprise for me

-         I had no clue that she had come down to Ahmadabad

-         I only knew that a few dancers would be joining me when I was singing , but when the Anjum walked down on the stage I could not believe what I was seeing

-         It was a brave step on her part to come down so far and support me

-         Somehow I have got a feeling that she has become very lucky for me

Ritisha’s elimination

-         Her performance has not been constant

-         She definitely had sung well in Ahmadabad but her previous performance was not that good on which she was put to vote

-         It was a shock to me to see her go , but this is a competition at the end of the day

-         This time she shocked everyone with her performance , I got goose bumps listening to her

-         Her performance was good this time but the voting was done on the last performance in which she was not too good

-         One has to go every week and whatever happens it happens for the good.

-         It was an altogether new experience for me.

-         Singing in front of a live audience where our judges were marking us on our performance was completely new for me. There were  thousands of people in Ahmadabad and it was a challenge to be focused and sing well

Performing with Sonu Nigam

-         I never expected that Sonu ji would join me on stage.

-         It was great on his part to come on the stage and I could share the stage with him.

Singing the title track for “Aap Ki Kachehri” the new show on star Plus

-         I was a little surprised and shocked to know that I would be singing the title track for “Aap ki Kachehri”

-         It’s a primetime show and to get a chance to sing the title track is a real good achievement for me

-         It is all because of VOI that I am getting all this

-         I am thankful to all those people who have been with me and brought me to this level

- I had never experienced such a thing in my life.
- It is a very big shock for everyone

Message

- It is a test of patience for all of us ,
- we all should stand by each other and overcome this situation in a very calm manner
- lets all pray that these things don’t happen again

Mumbai attacks

-         It is unbelievable to see all this happen and at such magnitude

-         These things should not happen , innocent people should not get killed

-         It is a shameful act , the people behind this should be punished
