What is the best compliment that you have received from a celebrity on VOI?
- when Tushaar Kapoor complimented that I had better than the original , it was a compliment worth my efforts so far in VOI
- apart from this when Masumeh had come on our show, I enjoyed dancing with her on stage
When did you experience fame and popularity?
- Whenever we go for our events in other cities we really can’t believe the people yelling our names or dancing and jumping on our songs
- It was an amazing experience to perform Specially in Lucknow and Nagpur
What has been most challenging for you in VOI so far?
- I do not compete with anyone except myself
- So for me , meeting my own expectations in every performance in VOI has been a challenge
What is the best compliment that you have received from a celebrity/Judge on VOI?
- when I had sung “Dil Haara ” , Sukhi ji had said that I had sung the song better than what he had sung originally
- this was a big compliment specially from a person who has originally sung this song
When did you experience fame and popularity?
- When I go out people do recognize me, they call my name and wave at me.
- This grows bigger when we perform in our VOI concerts in different cities.
- Then we truly get to know of our popularity and face value

What has been most challenging for you in VOI so far?
- I have been working very hard to give my best performance and my main motto is to get good marks from the judges and be it the top lot
- I expect to do the same in the coming weeks because right now everyone is trying hard to give his best shot
What is the best compliment that you have received from a celebrity on VOI?
- The best compliment that I have received so far is from Anand Raaj Anand .
- He told me that he has heard my songs a couple of times on VOI and according to him I was a complete “Bollywood package”
When did you experience fame and popularity?
- Recently I have figured out that our face value has increased a lot, in Mumbai people normally don’t react much if a star or celebrity passes by them.
- But even in Mumbai if we are shopping or In the streets people do react to us and they come up to us and greet us
- Same think happened to us when we traveled to the other cities for the VOI concerts
- We were overpowered with our fans wherever we went
- This is a great feeling and quite overwhelming
What has been most challenging for you in VOI so far?
- Seeing my performances in the earlier stages of the VOI and keeping in mind the feedback I was getting from the judges it was really important to meet the expectations of the judges and impress them
- Somehow with my hard work and regular practice I managed to achieve this
- This was quite a challenge for me.
What is the best compliment that you have received from a celebrity on VOI?
- When Tushaar Kapoor had come on VOI , he had said that I am completely ready to sing in Bollywood, All I need is a break , it was good to hear this
- Once Sukhi ji had also said that one more Sukhwinder Singh has come from Punjab, this was also nice to hear especially from Sukhi ji.
When did you experience fame and popularity?
- a few weeks back I was taking a walk where I stay , I saw a auto rickshaw going pass me, suddenly I saw it turning around with a few woman peeping out of it.
- They all came to me and asked me whether I was the same Vipul from VOI.
- When I said I was the same Vipul from VOI , they congratulated me for my singing and gave me blessings to win the title
- Similarly, once I was having food at one of the Restaurants, there I heard a few people talking about VOI and they were saying that Vipul in VOI really sings well.
- It was unbelievable to hear all this because I had never imagined being in such a place where common people would talk about me and praise my efforts.
What has been most challenging for you in VOI so far?
- my performance in the wild was a challenging one
- after my elimination I was very depressed and had no clue what so ever that I would come back
- so this performance was real the toughest one to deal with
What is the best compliment that you have received from a celebrity on VOI?
- So far a number of celebrities have come on VOI and they all say good things about us.
- The best compliment that I got was from Bappi da , he told me that I had a very unique voice and had good chance of singing in Bollywood, he even sang with me on stage .
- That was a very nice experience and very motivating for me.
When did you experience fame and popularity?
- Recently I had gone to Bangalore and I decided to visit my school.
- All my school life I had sung in school events so a number of people do knew me
- But this time when I went back it was a totally new experience, I was covered with young kids all around, my teachers were also there.
- Every one was asking for autographs and getting photographs clicked with me.
- I never expected all this; I could not believe that I had become so popular.
What has been most challenging for you in VOI so far?
- I am a very shy kind of a person , I am not much of a performer
- So to become a performer was little difficult for me
Playing the role of a mad person
- I felt like Sanjeev Kumar playing this role. When I was playing the role on stage I was lost in my own world. I had no control of myself.
- I was so much involved in it that I could not feel anyone’s presence
- It felt like someone else was doing it for me.
Preparations
- I have never acted in my life neither did I ever dreamt of it.
- I did not do any preparations for it , I only imagined how a mad person behaves
Elimination
- I am glad that I got a second chance but it did not work out for me because of less number of votes.
- I am happy with what has happened now.
Playing the role of Banjaran
- It was really tough for me to adapt to the role. I had no clue how to enact it.
- It was good to leave my own identity and adapt to something else
- I was doubtful whether I would be able to do it or not.
Preparations
- I saw the video of the song which I had sung a number of times, because it depicted a banjaran in it.
- I also took help from my friends abut my role and to adapt to it.
What if, you were a Banjaran in real life?

- Banjaran’s are usually nomads and they keep moving from one place to the other, so it would have been quite a fun to travel and be at different place
- It would have been quite an experience
Zakir’s elimination
- I felt bad for his elimination because the earlier week he had sung really well and I had never imagined he would go out
- I was pretty much sure that this week I would surely go out
